It is a requirement that you are familiar with the Terms and Conditions associated with your stay at Tallarook.

 

Overview

The tiny home is located on a rural property in a natural Australian bushland setting on the Clyde River.  On booking accommodation in the tiny home located on the Tallarook property you are responsible for your own safety and well-being.  Tallarook is not liable for any damage to your person, your guests or your personal property (including vehicles). You agree to indemnify Tallarook from all actions, claims, costs, damages and expenses (including legal) in relation to you and any person invited along with you in connection with your stay in our tiny home accommodation including the use of our website.  Wildlife may be present so maintain a respectful distance for your personal safety. Tallarook is not liable for any injury caused by wildlife or insects for the duration of your stay.

All guests purchasing accommodation in Tallarook Tiny Home Accommodation must be over 18 years of age.  All guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

When you book accommodation at Tallarook Tiny Home Accommodation you agree to behave in a responsible manner and follow the rules associated with your stay.  Tallarook maintains the right to request guests leave if the property rules are not adhered to. Criminal activity is prohibited.

Shooting is strictly prohibited on the Tallarook Property.

 

Fees

All rates are in Australian Dollars inclusive of GST.  A deposit of one nights accommodation is required at booking.  Full payment is required 48 hours prior to the booking date. A minimum 2 night stay is required per booking. An additional fee will be incurred for more than 2 guests. It is essential that the number of guests is stipulated at the time of booking.

 

Cancellation policy

All cancellation requests are required to be made by email - a receipt of cancellation will be issued.

  • If you cancel your booking 7 days or more prior to your booking date a full refund (less the 3% payment processing fee) will be provided.
  • Cancellations between 7 days and 48 hours will forfeit the deposit paid.

  • Cancellations 48 hours and less will incur full payment of  booked accommodation.

 

Check in/ check out

Check-in occurs from 2pm on the booking date.  It is advisable to attempt to arrive at Tallarook Tiny Home accommodation during daylight for ease of location.

Check-out is 11.00am and please be aware that  penalities may be incurred for late departure - unless previously authorised.  

 

Departure and Cleaning

You agree to leave the surrounding site and tiny home in the same condition as when you arrived.  Tallarook retain the right to apply additional cleaning fees if this is not adhered to. Please ensure all personal items have  been removed from the property as no responsibility will be taken for the return of personal items.

Are not permitted.

 

smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited in the tiny home.  A designated smoking area will be allotted.  All cigarette waste must be disposed of in a responsible and safe manner.

 

Damage

In accepting the Terms and Conditions you consent that you are liable for any damages to the tiny home and surrounding property caused by yourself or your accompanying guests. Tallarook maintains the right to charge your credit care for any damages.

 

campfires

All campfires must be contained within the designated fire pit and it is the guest’s responsibility to comply with local fire regulations.  Fires must not be left unattended at any time.

 

equipment provided

Kayaks and life jackets are provided for you.  It is your responsibility to ensure that you wear the life jackets provided.  The kayaks must be returned to a secure position on the riverbank following use.  Tallarook maintains the right to hold you responsible for any loss or damage.

All care is taken to ensure that our facilities are in fully working condition but as the property is off the grid there may be occasions where certain equipment is unusable.  No refund will be provided for mechanical/operational failure. Instructions will be provided in regards to the compost toilet and Tallarook retains the right to charge for any costs relating to restoring the toilet to normal operation if the instructions are not adhered to.
